LILLIAN GISH – Poem By Doris Kenyon 1922

LILLIAN GISH

– By Doris Kenyon –
Solitude in the cool garden of a souI;
Mist on a mountain before rain;
Frost pictures on a windowpane;
Debussy imprisoning a thought
In a note of music;
The hooded nun of the forest – the white violet
And the witchery of peace.
