Grifith Three-Reel Picture Has Been Lengthened to Six Reels and Will Be Disposed of by Biograph in the Open Market

D. W. Griffith directed “Judith of Bethulia,” and the cast of players, most of whom were comparatively unknown then, are stars now, the majority of whom have the opportunity of seeing their names in electric lights on Broadway whenever a picture in which they appear is produced. This all-star cast includes Blanche Sweet, Henry Walthall, Mae Marsh, Robert Harron, Lillian Gish, Dorothy Gish, and other prominent Biograph players.
At the time when “Judith of Bethulia” was produced the demand for lengthy features had not yet made its appearance. As a consequence, thousands of feet of original negative were not used. It was a simple matter for the editors to insert the necessary additional reels without resorting to “padding.” “Her Condoned Sin” is ready now for state rights buyers.
